Cash Flow Management
Cash Flow View
Go to Finance Insights > Cash > Cash Flow Forecast. Shows:
- Opening Balance – Cash at start of period.
- Expected Inflows – Open invoices due, expected payments.
- Expected Outflows – Vendor bills due, payroll, recurring expenses.
- Net Cash Flow – Inflows – Outflows.
- Closing Balance – Projected end balance.
Forecast Periods
- 7-day forecast – Immediate liquidity check.
- 30-day forecast – Short-term planning.
- 90-day forecast – Medium-term strategy.
- Custom date range.

Finance Insights Module
Finance Insights provides real-time dashboards and KPIs for executives. It aggregates data from Accounting, Sales, Purchases, and Inventory to give a comprehensive financial view, organised under five menus: Dashboards, Cash, Customers, Vendors, Performance, and Audit.

Accessing Finance Insights
Go to Finance Insights from the main dashboard. The overview page (Executive Dashboard) shows:
- Top KPI cards (Revenue, Expenses, Net Profit, Cash, AR, AP).
- Revenue and expense trend chart (last 12 months).
- Top 5 customers by revenue.
- Aged receivables summary.
- Upcoming payments.
CFO Command Center
The CFO Command Center screen is the single highest-altitude view — it pulls the headline number from most of the other screens in this course onto one page, meant to be the first thing a CFO or owner opens each morning before drilling into any specific area.

Customizing the Dashboard
- Click the Edit button (pencil icon) on any KPI card.
- Change the Period: Today, This Week, This Month, This Quarter, This Year, Custom Range.
- Change Comparison: Show vs previous period, vs budget.
- Target: Set a target value. KPI turns green/red based on attainment.
- Drill Down: Click any KPI to see the underlying transactions.
Chart Types
Charts on the dashboard can be:
- Line Chart – Trends over time.
- Bar Chart – Compare categories.
- Pie Chart – Revenue/expense distribution.
- Gauge – Single KPI vs target.
- Table – Detailed list view.
Financial Ratios & Multi-Year Comparison
The Financial Ratios screen calculates the standard set (liquidity, leverage, efficiency, profitability ratios) in one place instead of building them manually in a spreadsheet. Multi-Year Comparison and Three-Statement View lay out several years of Balance Sheet/P&L/Cash Flow side by side for trend spotting.
