Running a Blog

Go to Website > Content > Blog Posts (or the Blog app menu if installed separately).

Blogs vs Posts

  • A Blog is a named collection (e.g. "Company News", "Product Updates") — each gets its own URL and archive page.
  • A Post belongs to one blog: title, cover image, content (built with the same snippet editor as pages), tags, and publish date.

Writing a Post

  1. Open a blog → click New.
  2. Enter a title; the cover image and content area open in the builder.
  3. Add Tags for filtering/categorization on the blog's public archive.
  4. Set the Published Date — can be back-dated or scheduled in the future (post goes live automatically on that date).
  5. Publish when ready.

Comments & Sharing

Each post shows estimated read time and social share buttons automatically. Visitor comments/likes can be enabled per blog in the blog's settings if you want community engagement, or disabled for a pure announcements-only feed.

Blog SEO

  • Tags and Categories help both visitors and search engines understand topic clusters.
  • Cover image with alt text improves accessibility and image search visibility.
  • Social share images (og:image) control how a shared post looks on social media.
